I'm at an irritating standoff with myself right now. My sleep schedule is gone to hell because every time I take the pain drugs I get drowsy and nap for four hours. But if I don't take them then the pain eventually gets to the point where I feel like dropping to the floor and writhing around in semi-lucid frustration. The skin is growing back on two of the surgical incisions and the feeling is a distracting, indescribable mixture of BURNS and ITCHES. I could deal better with the shooting pain frankly.
