State Of The Me

Um. I feel like this is another journal entry altogether but I'll touch on shit. So obviously I didn't even try to make reqs in May and June. Too much crap going on. I'm thankfully finally moving in early July, but things have been ungood on my end. To start with, I decided to medically transition from female to male. I was born hormonally intersex and I've been taking estrogen-based bcp and anti-androgens since puberty but you know what, whatever, that never fit. So I'm doing the thing. And that's a head-trip and has taken more energy out of me than I think I can communicate. Stopping my hormones in preparation for different hormones basically means that I've been in a constant state of PMS for over a month which is just awesome.

In addition to that, a big part of why I'm leaving and moving in with Di is that my stepdad is not a great person. I barely know him and I was forced to live with him after I got out of the hospital and my mom had to sign as my caretaker after I was very sick. He has psychiatric problems and is non-compliant with his meds. Which in itself is not something that I can't handle. He's also just not a good person. Just very manipulative and cruel and childish. It's been really hard to have the emotional energy left to tag when I keep being woken up at all hours of the night to him swearing and slamming things, and constantly worried he's going to decide to confront me and call me awful things.

So I'm leaving because I need to get my own life back in order after my illness and this isn't how it's going to happen.

I want to jump back on the RP bandwagon in July though, and meet all my reqs and more, because I really enjoy it and I feel like crap dropping things and lurking and being generally uncreative. I feel like crap being slow to respond to emails bc I don't know what's going on anymore.

This SOTP is not totally going to be my standard because I haven't done crap for two months, so instead I'll make a short summary of what chars have been up to, things I want them to do, and see who might want to do things in July. Or who is planning stuff I can piggyback on trolololo.

S P O C K

spock has been putting his house in the 'burbs together with Jim and not a lot otherwise. I should try to plan a plot for him soon. Very soon. I totally bombed on his last EP because of things.

R O B I N

Has been being engaged to Ishiah and running Semele's and geenerally not rocking the boat So with Robin, I'm at the point where I need to rock the boat or drop him. He's a character who is okay personally with just being everybody's Guy Friday but that's not always great fun for a player when it means it's hard to get really good character development. So I want to give him a character development plot.

R I N

Did some powers switch stuff for that plot that I need to finish and backdate with Di. I really want to play this stuff out even though I'm late as dicks. Rin needs to meet more new people. He should do something with his girlfriend. Maybe some kind of demon plot with Di for the larger community in the near future?

L A F A Y E T T E

Needs to meet more people and be his extrovert self. I really want to do some plotty stuff with him and his psychic abilities, preferably a plot with some ghosts or something, if people want to do magic plots. Should tag some of the newer chars with Lafayette. I should re-watch some True Blood, and there's the new season, so ...

K I S U K E

They see me trollin', they hatin'. I like everything I'm doing with Kisuke, I just want to do more. I'd also like to give him some chances to make stronger, stickier emotional connections to people, especially human people. Also would like to give him more chances to be a weird, creepy mofo, because his chaotic nature is such a big part of his character.

N A R U T O

Korra's pregnant and they are having a bb together and it's now something they both know in canon so that's a thing that he should be discussing with folks and thinking about, and I ought to reflect that in playing. I think Korra did something with powers plot that I should maybe backdate stuff for if Di is still up for it? i was so absentee during that whole plot and now I'm still overwhelmed.

A B E L

Need to backdate powers plot stuff with Esther. Other than that, I'm still really feeling Abel and I want to get him out EVERYWHERE in the game and just tagging everyone because he's a character I just love in every way. It gives me gross feelings. I'd like to run some kind of plot with him but I'm not sure what yet. Maybe some kind of science fiction monster plot, like SCIENCE FICTION GHOSTS or something idk.

B A R N A B Y

Needs to hang with Tony Stark more. Needs to meet other super-types in Darrow. Should get in on KIRIN plot stuff. He's one of mine that's still the most disgusted with Darrow in general but he has a strong relationship with Wild Tiger so he can always rely on that. Barnaby needs to make friends. 'Friends.'

F U T U R E

Not until at least August, but the primary suspects right now are Gimel from Burying The Shadow, Sophia Burset from Orange Is The New Black and Verrick from The Legend Of Korra.

If you're interested I think I am throwing caution to the wind and just going through with weird plots with Robin (I tend to hold back out of fear that huge revelations may make chars unplayable, but if it's between dropping from ennui and dropping from development I ought to pick development). I've been wanting to do a plot where Robin fell into a Catch-22 reproduced (he does so by binary fission and creates a clone with all of his memories.) provided the mods are OK with me playing an NPC of ... my own character. The eventual goal is for the clone to be a bad apple and eventually need to be killed, something that Robin would have a hard time doing himself. In that event, just for plot reasons, I'd rather have characters who have no huge innate superpowers do the taking out of the clone, which would include Mike, who Robin knows.

Mostly it is a plot to screw around with the concept of morality, which is my favorite.

PLEASE do weird plots, I can't tell you how much I love weird plots. And that sounds awesome - if you haven't noticed yet, Mike is basically a sociopath in a lot of respects, and his idea of morality is, shall we say, somewhat fast and loose. To the extent that it exists at all. And he's always up for murder. So yes please that, just let me know what you need.
