STATE OF THE PUPS

KUROSAKI ICHIGO

What I am doing: Sometimes I feel like I need to play him more, but lately I've been thinking I might be content with not playing him under equal time to my other pups. Which isn't to say I want to slide by on activity just to sit on him, but Ichigo's character is better-suited to a small number of very intimate relationships, especially with other males, but also with females. I keep having to tell myself it's OK his face isn't everywhere.

What I could be doing: I definitely want to develop his relationship with Rukia in the environment of Darrow, cut off from everything else in their past. I also definitely want to make sure to consistently tag certain characters with him, because he's the sort of character that requires a confidant environment to blossom socially. However, Ichigo works well under action situations, so I need to remember to create or seek out those situations when they arrive in the game. He adores Kurt and needs to explore how he feels about Jason more.


ROBIN GOODFELLOW

What I am doing: Eeeeh. He's been faffing around in his typically Robinish way, which is enjoyable enough, but I do really need to give him some time to develop less casual relationships with other characters. I sort of need to remind myself that although he's a social butterfly, for my own play needs, I need to remember to have him develop CR with specific characters also, because I lose interest too quickly in play that is too surface-level and too candy. Flirting is great, but Robin is more engaging to me as a craft when he's rubbing the wrong way against people, which is just as valid for his characterization.

What I could be doing: Get him a job as a used car salesman pre-owned automobile salesman. That's my first goal. Make him get into trouble crime-wise, possibly contact players who play vigilantes or law-enforcers. Keep an eye out for situations I can put him in that will push him outside of his comfort zone and make him engaging to write.

SPOCK

What I am doing: He is the character making me the most satisfied right now. It's sort of a no-brainer, I mean, here's this character in a constant state of buzzing conceptual confusion in Darrow more than any of my others, so there's no lack of things that engage him and therefore no lack of things that engage me. For this reason his tags are the easiest to write even though they take the most thinking. He's been meeting as many people as possible for what he is positing are entirely logical reasons but at least half busy for the sake of busy and out of it I'm surprised by the small handful of individuals he well and truly likes that have emerged.

Also I cannot get enough of his castmates, I literally cannot, I am simply doing a very good job of concealing my addiction-level enthusiasm so that I don't scare nice people away.

What I could be doing: On this last point, develop his (buddingly romantic and also they need to have hot hot sex like yesterday) relationship with, foremost, Jim Kirk, but also Bones. I want to develop his friendship with Andrea and Hannah a lot, and also, develop what he's been doing with Rukia. What I sort of want to do ... get him in trouble, maybe. Maybe find something in Darrow that he firmly objects to. IDK I am patiently waiting for more plots to develop that push him outside his comfort zone, because he finds these both stressful and titilating and that's interesting.




In all three cases, JUST LET IT HAPPEN, LYS, DON'T BE MEEK WITH YOUR SHIPS. YOU ARE TOO MEEK WITH YOUR SHIPS.

FUTURE:

Spike Spiegel is the one that probably is coming in starting the opening of the next app round and after I finish my re-watch and his app, and there's tons of characters I look forward to inflicting his ass on. I am taking Spike from post-series.

Also, Mohinder Suresh is HUGE on my priority list. I miss playing him so much it hurts, which is so pathetic but w/e. Just want to get in contact with Eden-mun and determine how she feels about my transferring him or, if not, what canon point she might be most comfortable with. Canonmates are important to me so I don't want to step on anyone's toes with a canon like Heroes. Probs coming as orange!jumpsuit!Mohinder with powers, and may be coming before Spike depending.
