Just thought I would remind everybody that this exists.
Also my headache needs to go away so I can actually write shit.
In the meantime, I rewatch Lost and remember why I was impressed with this shit to begin with.
The amounts of Jungian synchronicity in this show used to create atmosphere are crazy. And even on my fourth re-watch, it still works. There's still this weird sense of discomfort about everything, even the Numbers, while I'm watching.
Lots of Lacanian shit going down, too. But I will not belabor because I am sure that this stuff has been picked over to death because Lost. But still.
This show is so enjoyable.
In other news, the doctor gave me the okay yesterday to get off the IV antibiotic therapy, so today I had my PICC line removed which was ... a disgusting experience. But this is good. It means that I got a Return To Work for July 9th, and also that tonight I can get an ACTUAL SHOWER.
AN ACTUAL SHOWER.
MY FIRST IN TWO MONTHS.
IT WILL BE THE BEST SHOWER EVER.
