Grandad's funeral was today. I noticed that during the services, the minister didn't ask if any of us would like to say anything this time, probably because at grandma's funeral, grandad said right into the microphone that he just wanted to die now that his wife was gone. And then he did.

Pretty sure we've damaged that minister for life. But that's just like my family.



I also found out via Andrew that Melissa Etheridge performed at Pittsburgh Pride this year and this was the one goddamn year I was not able to make it because of the open wounds still on my right foot. I was distraught. He said to make it up to me he would take me to see Spider-man when it came out which prompted him questioning me on why we needed a reboot anyway when there were already Spider-man films out. After which we had a lengthy argument on the importance of continuity and suspension of disbelief and the concept of a Marvel universe. He asked me if I couldn't just enjoy the damn movie because it's a movie and I said NO.


Andrew then surmised that I was, in fact, a bisexual female Mikey Novotny from Queer as Folk.


Tentatively okay with this because that makes his bitch-ass Emmett Honeycutt.
